NAMOD – a Namibian tax-benefit microsimulation model

SASPRI has developed a stand-alone static microsimulation model based on the EUROMOD platform for Namibia. This has been provided to government in Namibia to assist with evidence-based policy-making. As with SAMOD, the new version of NAMOD was undertaken in collaboration with ISER at the the University of Essex.
